Marco’s Pizza coming to the Broadlands

The new take-out and delivery restaurant will open in the Southern Walk Plaza.

Marco's pizza coming soon

Ashburn is getting a new pizza restaurant.

Marco’s Pizza, a well-regarded national brand, is going to open a location in the Southern Walk Plaza in the Broadlands (home to Harris Teeter, Taco Bell and McDonald’s) in the space formerly occupied by a Domino’s pizza.

Marco’s Pizza was founded in Ohio back in 1978 and today there are more than 900 locations around the US and overseas. The menu is just what you would expect from a pizza delivery place — a wide variety of pizzas as well as subs, salads, sides and more. The Cheezybread looks especially delicious. (See the full menu here.)

In a national Harris Poll, Marco’s Pizza was recently voted the country’s “Most Loved Pizza” brand.

This will be the second Marco’s location in Loudoun County. There’s one in the East Gate Marketplace down on Route 50. The local franchisees who operate that one — Chris Browne, Jessica Browne, and Joan Von Herbulis — will be the owners of the new Ashburn store as well.

They hope to open their new Marco’s location later this summer.

Is there any update on timeline for the Ashbrook (Russell Branch & Ashburn Village) Lidl opening? They seem to be making good progress.

Also, you might consider prompting readers the use the comment section to debate pizza flavors, grocery stores, etc. depending on the article. I think it could lead to higher engagement, especially considering how many people read your articles.
