A new fitness studio focused on indoor cycling is set to open this month in Ashburn. It’s called Cyclebar and it will be in the Ashbrook Commons shopping center.
The Burn told readers last May how Cyclebar had signed a lease for a roughly 2,000 s.f. space next to the Ashburn Village Inn.
Since then, permitting and construction have been underway and now they are ready to ride. The cycling studio has announced that opening day will be Thursday, March 28.
The brand was founded in 2004 and there are locations across the country as well as several overseas. Cyclebar bills itself as the largest cycling studio brand in the world.
One interesting note — many people refer to this form of exercise as “spinning.” However, it turns out that a different fitness company has trademarked terms such as “spin” and “spinning” when it comes to indoor cycling, so others can’t use them in their marketing.
