Lego fans in in the area will be interested to learn that a Bricks & Minifigs store is coming to Herndon. The store is part of a chain that specializes in new and used Lego kits and pieces.
The new store will be located at 1050 Elden Street. That’s the same retail center with the Fresh Market international grocery store.
Bricks & Minfigs is a national brand of stores with dozens of locations across the country. The Herndon store should be the first one in Northern Virginia and the greater DC market. Stores are also in the works for Falls Church and Fredericksburg.
The chain is an authorized reseller of Lego products including mini-figures, bricks, sets, and more.
They specialize in what they call the “Three R’s.” Rebuild because they have thousands of individuals pieces you can buy to replace ones you are missing; Reuse because they buy, sell, and trade anything Lego; and Reimagine with new sets that you can create with.
Construction has just gotten underway on the space — which used to be a Kumon tutoring center. So, no word yet on when Bricks & Minifigs will open.
