A new eatery specializing in the super popular “açai bowl” space is scheduled to start a soft opening today, Saturday, April 27, in Sterling. It’s called Nautical Bowls and this is the brand’s second location in Loudoun County.
The new Nautical Bowls is in the Dulles 28 Centre. That’s the big shopping plaza with an Old Navy store, a DSW store and more, next to the Target and Wegmans just off of Waxpool Road.
Nautical Bowls is a fast-growing national brand with more than 60 locations around the country. More than 100 additional locations are currently in the works.
Besides healthy açaI bowls, the menu at Nautical Bowls includes bowls made with mango, pitaya, coconut, blue majick, chia pudding, and cacao.

While the soft opening is getting underway, the grand opening for the Dulles 28 Nautical Bowls will be next week — on Saturday, May 4. Doors will open at 11 a.m. and the first 50 guests will get a free bowl.
According to the store’s team, everyone who joins the Nautical Bowls loyalty program on May 4 will get entered for a chance to win free bowls for a year.
The first Nautical Bowls in Loudoun opened in the Lansdowne Town Center last October. Several more are in the works around the greater DMV.
