A new Asian restaurant in Loudoun County is one step closer to coming to fruition after a stylish sign was recently installed over the entrance. It’s called Matsu Poke & Sushi.
Matsu is coming to the Cameron Chase Village Center in Ashburn. That’s the retail center next door to the Ashburn Ice House where the Ford’s Fish Shack is located.
The Burn first broke the news about Matsu Poke coming to the center last June, but then it’s been quiet on the news front ever since until the sign appeared.
We still don’t have any details on the Matsu menu — but obviously the focus will be on poke and sushi dishes.
The space is roughly 1,400 s.f. and used to be a Subway sandwich shop. A peek in the windows shows that construction has advanced a fair amount — with a large counter in place and a seating area being installed.
We’re told the team behind Matsu Poke is the same group that operates Matsutake Sushi & Steak, which has at several locations around the region.
