A new Mexican restaurant is coming to the the Countryside Marketplace in Sterling, moving into the space that was long the home of a Los Toltecos restaurant. The new restaurant is called Casa Tequila Bar & Grill.
Casa Tequila in Sterling will be the latest location for the Northern Virginia brand. They have three other Casa Tequila’s locations — in Alexandria, Lorton and Purcellville. Construction is underway on the new site.
Meanwhile, as regular readers of The Burn know, the Sterling Los Toltecos is moving into a new location inside the Dulles Town Center shopping mall. It’s taking over the space that long ago was a Vapiano.
It’s been in the works for a year and a half. Finally, construction is underway, but no word yet on when it will open.
Same old, same old as Los Disasteros, plastic food and bland drinks. Ugh. Will servers and bartenders use gloves from now on post lockdown? Will Casa Tequila resume microwaving frozen Swanson Mexican meals? Can patrons peek into the kitchen to see if it’s clean?
Let’s hope Casa T will move to the Dullest Mall too, and then…get bulldozed into oblivion.
