LOOKS LIKE IHOP IS HOPPING INTO SOUTH LOUDOUN

A sign has gone up that indicates a future IHOP.

There have long been rumors that an IHOP restaurant was looking at coming to the nascent Evergreen Commerce Center at the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Evergreen Mills Road.

That’s the V-shaped piece of land where the Sheetz gas station and convenience store is also located.

Well, it appears the rumors are true. Reader Tony Cole sent us this photo of some new construction that has recently started on the site. Looks like it is indeed slated to be an IHOP.

Other possible tenants at the Evergreen Commerce Center include an ALDI supermarket (as we reported here), a Prestige Preschool Academy and perhaps even an auto parts store.

Well, now I understand why Wendy’s is considering the area. IHOP spells out the kind of quality development south Loudoun can expect.
