The Goose Creek Village shopping center in Ashburn is getting not one, but two new restaurants. It’s part of a burst of exciting activity for the plaza that straddles both sides of Sycolin Road at the intersection with Belmont Ridge Road.
Massaya Lebanese Restaurant & Bar has signed a lease for a space on the lower level of the center, facing Sycolin Road. It’s the spot where Club Jump Fitness operated at one time, right down the steps next to the Social House’s patio.
The second restaurant is reportedly going to be called Farm Table Kitchen & Bar. It’s the brainchild of Jorge Chicas, the executive chef at the Thompson Hotel in DC and its rooftop bar, Anchovy Social.
Farm Table will be taking the spot immediately above Massaya, in between Social House and the Goose Creek Veterinary Hospital.
No word yet on timetables for either of these restaurants, but Massaya has a temporary sign up and has applied for its liquor license already, so the wheels are in motion.
We are also told that the Sterling Ballet Academy will be opening a location in the center, taking over the spot occupied by MBA Majest, a martial arts studio.
This location has high turnover, probably because of high rent/poor design. 3-4 businesses will be closing by Feb 2022.
I love your positive energy, Robert. You must be the life of the party!
