A new building that is scheduled to house a future IHOP restaurant and an urgent care center is taking shape in Purcellville. It’s part of the Catoctin Corner development.
That’s at the roundabout where Route 7/Colonial Highway meets with 286/Berlin Turnpike. Other businesses there include a Chipotle, a Dunkin’ Donuts, and a 7-Eleven.
The building in question is going up next to the 7-Eleven. According to the commercial real estate company repping the property, 3,400 s.f. of the building is earmarked for a future IHOP restaurant.
Meanwhile, the other end of the building — roughly 3,000 s.f. — is expected to become a new Tru Health Now urgent care facility.
That leaves roughly 3,500 s.f. in the middle for some other future tenant. There appear to be two sets of doors on the unclaimed space, but other documents indicate no more than one tenant will go in there. How that shakes out remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, the fine folks at IHOP tell us that there is no scheduled opening date for their Purcellville restaurant. Right now, it’s looking like it could be later in 2024.
