The space next to Parallel Wine & Whiskey Bar in the Broadlands has sat empty ever since the Curiosity Zone, a popular venue for kids birthday parties and after school programs, closed back in 2020. It was an early victim of the pandemic.
Now, at long last, a new tenant has signed on for the 2,800 s.f. space in the Broadlands Village shopping center. It’s a new urgent care center from a national UC brand that has partnered with the folks at Inova, the same healthcare company that operates Loudoun’s main hospital.
The new center will be called Inova Go Health Urgent Care. There are Go Health UC’s in a dozen or so states.
If you’re saying to yourself — wait, that shopping center already has an urgent care center — close, but no cigar. The Act Fast center that had occupied a space down near the Los Toltecos restaurant closed several months ago.
No word on when the new Inova Go Health clinic will open. It’s one of several new tenants coming to the shopping plaza — including Ashburn’s first Duck Donuts location, and X-Golf, an indoor golf simulator venue with a food menu and bar.
