A disappointing change for the new Arrowbrook Centre development in Herndon. Plans to open an Ornery Beer Company Public House here have fallen through.
Arrowbrook is a new retail and residential project just off of 267 at Centreville Road (Exit 10). It includes two buildings with storefronts on the ground level and apartments on the floors above.
Ornery Beer Company had been announced as one of the future tenants at the center, but now we’ve learned that’s not happening.
“We will not be proceeding with the Arrowbrook development,” Ornery CEO Randy Barnette told The Burn. “We were unable to secure the financing to complete the project. We and the developer mutually agreed to terminate the lease. We continue to consider projects in second generation locations for our brew pubs — with lower development costs — to grow and utilize the full capacity of our production brewery in Bristow.”
The first retail tenant to open at Arrowbrook was Paris Baguette, a fast-casual bakery and restaurant. It opened last November.
Other tenants signed to the center include the upcoming Hello2India South Asian grocery store and an eatery from well-known area restaurateur Peter Chang.
