The new Wiseguy Pizza restaurant has opened in Herndon — the latest location for the fast-growing brand.
The Burn first broke the news about Wiseguy setting up shop in Herndon last September. It took over a small, carry-out space that was previously a Big Buns Damn Good Burgers outlet.
Both Wiseguy and Big Buns are owned by the Reston-based Thompson Hospitality, the largest minority-owned food service provider in the country.
Other area brands operated by Thompson include Matchbox and Milk & Honey.
The new Wiseguys — which opened earlier this week — can be found at 1142 Elden Street. According to the brand’s website, it’s the sixth Wiseguy location, with stores in DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland.
A seventh location is in the works for Fort Lauderdale.
The menu at Wiseguy includes pizzas by the slice or whole pies. They have both round thinner-style pizzas and square pizzas that are thicker, plus a cauliflower gluten-free crust pizza is available.
Plus they have vegetarian and vegan options. You can see the full Wiseguy menu here.
