First Watch pursuing a new location in Sterling

(Update: The news about First Watch coming to Sterling is confirmed.)

Leesburg has one. South Riding has one. And now it looks like Sterling could be the next Loudoun County community to get a First Watch restaurant.

The Burn has learned that First Watch is pursuing plans to bring one of its brunch-themed restaurants to the Potomac Run Plaza shopping center just off Route 7.

Potomac Run Plaza is the center with a Target, the Bojangles restaurant, as well as a HomeGoods and a Homesense store, plus many other retailers.

First Watch would like to take over the building that was previously the Outback Steakhouse. Outback closed its restaurant there last August.

It’s not clear if the plans to bring First Watch to the nearly 6,500 s.f. space are a done deal, or still being negotiated. Stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted.

First Watch is a national restaurant chain focusing on breakfast, brunch, and lunch. They are usually only open in the morning and early afternoon.
