The popular taco joint Taco Zocalo has announced it is adding another new location to the growing local brand. And the newest spot is in Loudoun.
Taco Zocalo will be opening in a roughly 2,000 s.f. spot at the Town Center at Sterling shopping plaza. That’s at the eastern edge of Sterling near the intersection of Route 7 and Dranesville Road.
According to the landlord, the spot TZ is taking is right at the front of the center facing Route 7, tucked in between the 7-Eleven and a Bank of America.
Regular readers of The Burn know that Taco Zocalo got its start way back in 2012 when it was truck-based and known as Chef on Wheels.
In 2017, the TZ team opened its first brick-and-mortar location in Reston. That spot was later renamed Taco Zocalo.
Since then, the company has opened a location in Ashburn off George Washington Boulevard and another one in Chantilly off Route 50. And now the Sterling location.

No word yet when the new Sterling Taco Zocalo will open, but they already have “Coming Soon” signage up on the windows and work is happening in the space.
