If it’s the first Saturday in May, that means it’s Free Comic Book Day — an annual event where comic shops across America pass out free comic books and celebrate the industry.
This year, Free Comic Book Day happens to fall this weekend — on May 4th — as in “May the 4th Be with You” — which is informally known as Star Wars Day.

Comic Logic Books & Artwork, a popular comic shop in Ashburn, is celebrating the big event with not only free comics, but with a scheduled appearance by actor Brenden Wayne.
Wayne is the grandson of iconic actor John Wayne, and he is also currently the actor under the helmet in “The Mandalorian” television show that appears on Disney+. The show takes place in the “Star Wars” universe.
The event starts at 11 a.m. and Wayne will be at the store signing autographs and talking with fans of the show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
