First Painted Tree Boutiques ready to open in Loudoun

The first Painted Tree Boutiques in Northern Virginia is getting ready to open its doors in Loudoun County next week. It’s one of two Painted Tree locations opening locally.

Painted Tree Boutiques – Dulles will open next Saturday, June 1. It’s located in the Dulles Landing shopping plaza near the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Highway 50.

That’s the same center with the Walmart, the Dick’s Sporting Goods and many other retailers. Painted Tree has taken over the former Bed, Bath, and Beyond space.

“Painted Tree Boutiques began as a way of providing local, hard-working creatives and small business owners with a retail space to share their one-of-a-kind, curated products,” the opening announcement reads. “Since 2015, this model has provided a unique retail experience for boutique owners and customers by housing hundreds of different shops under one roof.”

Have you ever been to an antiques mall — where a bunch of antique vendors have their own stalls or spaces in one large store? It’s that concept — only with artists and craftspeople offering jewelry, clothing, gift items, home decor, and more.

We said the Dulles store is the first of two stores opening locally. As we have reported, another Painted Tree Boutiques location is in the works for Sterling. It’s coming to the Sugarland Crossing retail center off Route 7.

There are three other Painted Tree locations in Virginia – down in the Richmond and Virginia Beach areas. The new Dulles store will be the brand’s 43rd location over all.
