The folks at Massaya Lebanese Restaurant & Bar have quietly opened a new addition to their restaurant — a colorful, cozy hookah lounge.
The new space is called Kalyan by Massaya and we’re told it’s a separate room inside the restaurant located at 21000 Sycolin Road in the Goose Creek Village shopping center.
Hookah — a waterpipe through which flavored tobacco is often smoked — reportedly originated in India and is popular in parts of Asia and elsewhere in the world.
Besides offering the hookahs, Kalyan also serves drinks and has a small food menu as well. The lounge’s motto is Escape – Savor – Connect.
The parent restaurant — Massaya — opened two years ago.
