Loudoun County’s second Duck Donuts location is ready for business. The new store in Ashburn will officially hold its grand opening this Saturday, June 15.
Duck Donuts is coming to a 1,200 s.f. space in the Broadlands Village Center. That’s at the intersection of Broadlands Boulevard and Claiborne Parkway.
The brand — most known for its cake-style donuts topped with frostings and sweets — sits just a few doors down from the Aldi grocery store and the LA Fitness.
The Burn first broke the news about the new Ashburn Duck almost exactly one year ago. Work on the store has been underway ever since.
This is the second Duck Donuts location for Ashburn. The first one opened in the South Riding community in October of last year.
The grand opening Saturday is scheduled for 7 a.m. The first person in line will receive a dozen donuts free each month for a year. And the first 50 people will get a certificate for a free dozen donuts plus coffee.
