Loudoun County’s second Sense of Thai restaurant is getting close to welcoming its first guests. In the meanwhile, the team there has shared some artist renderings of what the space will look like.
Opulent is the word that comes to mind. Shiny tiled floors, marble-like table tops, huge sweeping light fixtures, and hand painted art on the walls.
The new restaurant is coming to the South Riding Market Square near the intersection of Highway 50 and Loudoun County Parkway. It’s the same center with the Giant store and the Home Depot.
The Burn first broke the news about the new restaurant more than a year ago — in February 2023. Work has been underway ever since on the space that was previously a Ford’s Fish Shack restaurant.
The management at Sense of Thai had hoped to be open by May, but as anyone who has ever opened a restaurant knows — timelines often have to slide a little. Still, they are saying the opening should be “soon.”
The growing company also has the original Sense of Thai restaurant in Ashburn’s One Loudoun center, plus the Tiki Thai restaurant in the Reston Town Center West development.
