An update for you today on the progress of the new Container Store coming to Ashburn’s One Loudoun center.
Friday afternoon, workers were installing new window clings on the facade of the store that announced they were planning on opening in July. It will be the first location for the national brand in Loudoun County.
Meanwhile, inside it looks somewhat like a blank slate — finished white walls, but still missing the shelving and display units that will certainly be installed soon.
If the store indeed opens in July, it will fall exactly one year after The Burn first broke the news that The Container Store was exploring the more than 17,000 s.f. space across the street from the Barnes & Noble bookstore.
The space had previously been a furniture store called Great Gatherings.
