Construction underway on new DQ Chill & Grill in Loudoun

Work is underway on the new Dairy Queen Chill & Grill restaurant that is coming to a small retail center just off State Road 28 in Sterling. Work on a new car wash next door is also moving along quickly.

The two businesses are the latest additions to the Guilford Station project at the intersection of West Church Road and Atlantic Boulevard.

Future site of the DQ Chill & Grill in Sterling.

That’s the same spot with a 7-Eleven, The Human Bean drive-thru coffeeshop, and the brand new Goodwill store.

The DQ Chill & Grill is basically a Dairy Queen with a more extensive food menu including things like burgers, fries, and chicken tenders.

While there are several “treats only” Dairy Queen locations in Loudoun County, the only other Chill & Grill spot is in Leesburg at the Fort Evans Plaza II off Fort Evans Road NE.

The new location in Sterling will include a drive-thru lane.

Meanwhile, the Station Auto Wash Express is under construction next to the DQ site. As we’ve reported,  it’s one of two locations for the new car wash brand coming to Sterling.
