After a long time gestating, things are starting to pop at the tiny Brambleton Corner Plaza center in Ashburn. Another new tenant has been announced.
It’s ABC Pediatric Urgent Care — an urgent care center especially for kids. It’s going into the nearly 2,000 s.f. unit right next door to the Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
The window coverings on the space say ABC stands for “All ‘Bout Children.” This appears to be a first location for the brand as we didn’t find any other locations listed online.
Besides ABC Pediatric, the retail center is also going to be home to an upcoming BKD Bagels location. And there is a Filling Co. gas station and convenience store there.
There are four more unclaimed units for future tenants and the landlord has indicated that they may have a signed lease on at least one of them soon.
The Brambleton Corner Plaza has been slow to bloom — but that could soon change. Right now, the center sits at the dead end of Northstar Boulevard. But construction is underway on an extension that will connect Northstar to Route 50 to the south.
When this is completed — late this year or early in 2025 — daily traffic passing this center and its businesses should increase dramatically.
