We can almost taste the pizzas and vino already. The new Knead Wine pizza and wine shop in Purcellville is almost ready to open its doors.
The signage has gone up outside and we’ve got an update from the Knead team. They have received all their permits and are aiming for a mid-July opening. That’s in the next couple of weeks.
The Burn first told you about Knead’s plans back in May. The much-loved Middleburg store is expanding with a new location in the The Shops at Main & Maple in P’ville.
In Middleburg, Knead is primarily a wine shop that also sells Neapolitan style pizzas for takeaway. But the new location will be larger with a dining room and outside patio for onsite consumption.
Besides serving up their signature pizzas, the new Knead will also offer a broader menu that includes salads and other small plates, plus their signature chocolate chip cookies, and soft serve ice cream.
There will be wine, beer, and frosé (frozen rosé) on the drink menu along with the opportunity to choose a chilled bottle of wine to have with your meal.
You can get a feel for their pizzas by taking a look at the Middleburg location’s summer menu, posted below.
In the meanwhile, we’ll stay in touch with the folks at Knead and let you know when opening day is officially announced.
