The Marco’s Pizza restaurant in the South Riding/Chantilly area of southern Loudoun has closed its doors for good. The announcement was made today via social media.
“It is with a heavy heart I inform you that Marco’s Pizza in South Riding has permanently closed for business as of yesterday,” co-owner Chris Browne wrote. “It has been a pleasure serving the community over the last seven years. Unfortunately, we were just unable to keep up with rising costs and have reached a point where staying in business has become unsustainable.”
The Marco’s was located in the East Gate Marketplace shopping center off of Highway 50. It’s last day was yesterday, Saturday, July 20.
Browne and his colleagues also own the Marco’s Pizza located in Ashburn in the Broadlands neighborhood. That store is still open and operating.
