Details are still scarce, but it looks like the building at the corner of South King Street and Loudoun Street SW may have a new tenant.
That’s the building with blue shutters, blue door frames and blue window frames at 101 South King that for many years was the Delirium Cafe — until it closed its doors back in early March.
Now a business license application has been filed for that address for a restaurant called Ebisu Sushi and Thai. We’ve also heard passers-by have spotted activity going on in the building, so work could already be underway.
We don’t have any details on the plans for Ebisu Sushi and Thai so far. However, the word Ebisu is the name of a Japanese god of fishermen and good fortune.
We’ll “fish” around for more information and report back what we find out.
