Loudoun County getting its first Qdoba Mexican restaurant

Area fans of the Qdoba Mexican Eats brand take heart — a new location is in the works for Loudoun County.

The Burn has learned that Qdoba will take a roughly 1,900 s.f. space in the Ashbrook Commons shopping center. That’s the Harris Teeter-anchored center near the intersection of Ashburn Village Boulevard and Route 7.

Qdoba is taking the spot that used to be the Sweet Frog froyo shop.

Qdoba is a California-based national chain founded in 1995. It reportedly has more than 750 locations across the country.

Locally, there are a number of Qdoba stores in Northern Virginia, including Herndon, Fairfax, Manassas, and Gainesville.

No word on when the new Ashburn Qdoba will open — the deal was just finalized so it depends on how fast things get moving.
