For more than two years, The Burn has been following the progress on a new venue coming to Ashburn that will feature amazing climbing walls.
Info has been scarce thus far — but we’ve gotten a couple more details as Up Ultimate Adventure Park gets closer to opening.
Detail No. 1 is the name. We’d previously heard it was going to be called something akin to Up Family Climbing Gym, but now they’ve shared the logo online and the official name on social media is Up Ultimate Adventure Park.
They describe the venue as “Northern Virginia’s premier spot for family fun, fitness, and unforgettable adventures.”
Detail No. 2 is a target opening. The Up team says they will be opening sometime this fall — which is right around the corner.
Construction has been underway since last year at the Lexington 7 property along Riverside Parkway on the north side of Route 7.
Regular readers will recall that back in January, we shared some images that leaked online of a couple of the climbing walls at Up. They certainly look different — and exciting.
We’ll keep you posted as we learn more about the features and amenities at Up Ultimate Adventure Park.
