Southern Tide planning first store in Loudoun County

Southern Tide — a clothing retailer that specializes in apparel for the “coastal lifestyle” — is planning its first Loudoun County store. It will be joining the growing retail offerings at One Loudoun in Ashburn.

The Burn has learned that Southern Tide will be taking a nearly 1,400 s.f. space on Exchange Street, tucked in between The Yard Milkshake Bar and the Scout & Molly’s clothing boutique.

Southern Tide will take over the space that was previously the Zakaa bridal shop before Zakaa recently moved to a larger spot down the street.

The Southern Tide brand was founded in 2006 and offers clothing for men, women, and children.

Here in Northern Virginia, there is a Southern Tide store over at the Mosaic District in Fairfax, according to the company’s website.

Their products are also reportedly available from other retailers such as The Lucky Knot stores in Leesburg and Middleburg.

As we’ve been reporting all week — One Loudoun has just started a major expansion that is expected to bring multiple new retail stores and restaurants.

Among the future tenants already announced — an Arhaus furniture store, a Tatte Bakery & Cafe, a Bartaco restaurant, and a Van Leeuwen Ice Cream shop.
