Sure, it’s still a little ways out — but we have an update on the new Rice Culture sweet shop coming to the Highway 50 corridor in Chantilly.
The brand has announced that it is currently aiming to open its second location in Northern Virginia coming up in March.
The Burn first told you about the new location back in June. It’s coming to the Chantilly Crossing shopping center.
That’s the same center with the Costco, the Lidl and the Target near the intersection of Highway 50 and State Road 28.
Rice Culture is moving into a 1,600 s.f. space in the same building that is home to Chipotle, Sushi Queen, Potbelly, and Roaming Rooster.
The menu at Rice Culture is filled with taiyakis, a Japanese street food that is basically a fish shaped waffle stuffed with either a sweet or savory filling.
We are talking about flavors such as vanilla custard, Nutella, or bacon jalapeño. They will also carry soft serve ice cream.
