Lindt Chocolate bringing new sweet shop to Leesburg

Folks with a sweet tooth in Loudoun County will soon have another place to get their candy fix.

The famed gourmet chocolate brand Lindt is opening a store in Leesburg.

Lindt will be taking a spot in the Leesburg Premium Outlets — the outlet mall found just off the Leesburg Bypass at the intersection with Fort Evans Road NE.

It will be located next door to the Sunglass Hut which is near the entrance with the Gap Outlet and the Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store.

The Lindt chocolate company was founded in Switzerland in 1845 and is now known around the world for its LINDOR chocolate truffles and other sweets.

According to the outlet mall’s website, the tentative opening of the Lindt store in Leesburg will be Friday, November 29.

That date is better known this year as “Black Friday” — the big shopping day that falls on the day after Thanksgiving.
