Loudoun’s first Sprouts Farmers Market announces opening date

The first Sprouts Farmers Market in Loudoun County has officially announced its opening date. The new store in Leesburg is scheduled to start welcoming customers next week — on Friday, October 25.

The big sign has also been installed over the door at the new store that is coming to the Battlefield Shopping Center.

That’s near the intersection of the Leesburg Bypass and Edwards Ferry Road NE.

The shopping center is also home several other major anchor stores including a Dick’s sporting goods, a DSW shoe store, and a Total Wine wine store.

Sprouts has taken over part of the space that used to be the Stein Mart department store.

The other portion of the former Stein Mart is becoming a Boot Barn store, known for its western apparel and accessories.

With Trader Joe’s also scheduled to open in Leesburg next Tuesday (see our report here) and then Sprouts opening on Friday, it’s a big, big week for grocery shoppers in the community.
