Discover What’s Inside: Heritage Baptist Church hosts open house for all

Heritage Baptist Church in Ashburn is growing both in numbers and diversity. As people from different cultural and personal backgrounds come together each week, they find unity in their shared faith and commitment to the teachings of the Bible.

In response to this growth, Heritage expanded to two services in April, offering worship at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Beyond Sunday mornings, the church strengthens connections through small groups, which meet during the week for Bible study and fellowship.

The vibrant youth group also continues to play an essential role, providing young people a space to grow spiritually and build meaningful relationships.

A key element of unity is Pastor Steve’s verse-by-verse, expository preaching. His commitment to thoroughly unpacking scripture allows the congregation to engage deeply with God’s Word, bringing clarity and relevance to their daily lives.

Alongside this, the addition of a new worship leader, Shawn Gray, has brought fresh energy to the music ministry enhancing the church’s dynamic services.

“God’s Word is the great unifier,” Pastor Steve explains. “Despite our differences, it’s through scripture that we learn how to live in harmony, love one another, and grow together.”

Heritage invites the community to an open house on Sunday, November 3, during the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services. Come experience a Sunday at Heritage, with its vibrant worship, biblical preaching, and a focus on community and unity.

Families are encouraged to bring their children for the exciting kids’ program, where they’ll learn biblical lessons through fun, interactive activities.

Come and experience this growing, welcoming community firsthand. You can find more information at heritageva.church.
