Another week, another major retailer opening in Leesburg. This time — it’s Boot Barn’s turn. The new western apparel shop is scheduled to open next week.
That’s the word from a friendly regional manager onsite who told us the store’s soft opening will be next Tuesday, November 5.
A grand opening with local officials and a ribbon cutting is scheduled for Friday, November 22 — all just in time for the big holiday shopping season.
As regular readers know, the new Boot Barn is coming to the Battlefield Shopping Center off Edwards Ferry Road NE. The Burn first broke the news about the store back in July 2023.
Right now, a peek in the store shows row after row of shelves ready for merchandise. We understand a shipment of 7,000 pairs of cowboy boots is scheduled to arrive later this week.
The opening will come just days after the new Sprouts Farmers Market store opened next door to the Boot Barn, as well as the opening of a new Burlington store elsewhere in the center, plus the new Trader Joe’s store a few blocks away.
