Loudoun County getting fourth Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken

Apparently Loudoun County just can’t get enough Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken. The fast-growing chain that started right here in Virginia has its fourth location in the works for Loudoun.

The Burn has learned that Hangry Joe’s is coming to the East Gate Maretplace shopping center off Highway 50 in the South Riding/Chantilly area in the southern part of the county.

That’s the shopping center with the Harris Teeter, the giant King Spa, and the Social House and Velocity Wings restaurants.

Hangry Joe’s will be taking the roughly 1,900 s.f. spot that used to be the Marco’s Pizza. Marco’s closed that store back in July.

Hangry Joe’s — which specializes in Nashville-style hot chicken sandwiches and wings offered at different heat levels — got its start in 2021 in the Richmond area and now has locations across the country.

There are more than a dozen Hangry Joe locations in Northern Virginia, including stores in Ashburn, Leesburg, Sterling and Herndon.

No word yet on when the Hangry Joe’s at East Gate Marketplace will open, but past local stores have opened quickly once announced, so the wait may not be very long.
