For fans of the Reston Town Center development, there’s been a lot of anticipation for the big expansion that is well underway. We’re talking about the so-called RTC Next project.
As The Burn has been reporting, this latest phase of the RTC is going up right along Sunset Hills Road adjacent to the Dulles Toll Road (267).
It will include new retail, new restaurants, a hotel, office space, and more.
We got our first look at the nascent center the other day — including a glimpse of the first two tenants on their way to the center.
Construction is underway on Molly’s Dog Care, a facility for pooches that will offer daycare, boarding, and grooming.
It’s one of two locations the new brand is working on. The other will be in Baltimore.
We also saw the upcoming AC Hotel and Residence Inn by Marriott — a new double hotel that will also feature SEVEN, a new, upscale restaurant and SYN, a rooftop bar and lounge atop the 16-story building.
