First Look: New Boot Barn store opens its doors in Loudoun

It’s been more than a year since The Burn first broke the news that Leesburg was getting its own Boot Barn store — and now, the big day has arrived. The store opened its doors bright and early this morning.

The new location for the national retailer is in the Battlefield Shopping Center off Edwards Ferry Road NE — right next to the new Sprouts Farmers Market that just opened a week or so ago.

The bread-and-butter of Boot Barn is cowboy boots and cowboy hats in a wide variety of sizes, designs, and colors. But they also have all types of Western apparel, gear, and accessories.

The brand was founded in 1978 and now has more than 380 locations across the country.

While today marks a soft opening of sorts for Boot Barn, there will be a formal “grand opening” coming up in a a couple of weeks.

It will be held with local business leaders and VIPs at 12 noon on Thursday, November 21. The ceremonial ribbon cutting is scheduled for 12:15 p.m.
