A new Vietnamese style restaurant and tea house is just about ready to open its doors. That’s according to a contractor putting the final touches on the space.
He said if all goes smoothly, he would expect the Viet Kitchen Tea House to open in the next few weeks.
The shopping center is located off Algonkian Parkway at the intersection with Lowes Island Boulevard.
Viet Kitchen took the former Dunkin’ spot after the doughnut shop moved to a larger space elsewhere in the center.
Now, the sign at the restaurant has been installed over the entrance. A peek inside shows the space is nearly complete and just waiting for furniture and other accessories.
We still don’t have details on the menu at Viet Kitchen Tea House, but signage on the windows indicates that Asian-style bubble teas will be front and center and also pho, a popular style of Vietnamese soup.
