Buffalo Wild Wings GO ready to open first Loudoun store

What’s being touted as the first Buffalo Wild Wings GO location in Northern Virginia is ready to open its doors this week in Loudoun County.

The new takeout and delivery wing shop is located in the Clock Tower Center off Route 7 in Sterling.

The grand opening will be held this Saturday, November 23. Starting at 9:30 a.m., stickers will be given out to the first 50 guests in line who will win free wings for a year (which comes in the form of a voucher for six free wings each week for 52 weeks, in case you were wondering).

Around 10 a.m., there will be an official ribbon cutting ceremony and other activities with the local franchisees and VIP community members. The restaurant formally opens at 11 a.m.

Unlike a traditional Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant with a large dining room and bar area, the BWW GO concept features a much smaller footprint and there is no dine-in option. All orders are for carry out or delivery.

The Sterling location is just 1,000 s.f. in size.

The GO concept was first launched in 2020 and features all the brand’s favorite menu items including bone-in and boneless wings, tenders, chicken sandwiches, sides, as well all 26 of the BWW signature sauces and dry rubs.

While the official opening date is Saturday, we did see that the store’s Google listing says it opens on Thursday, November 21. Not sure if this is just an error — or if they are going to do a soft opening a couple of days before the grand opening.

Buffalo Wild Wings was founded in 1982 and today has more than 1,200 locations in nine countries.
