We now know a new tenant coming to the food court at the Dulles Town Center shopping mall. It will be the latest location for Desi Chowrastha, a growing fast casual Indian chain.
Desi Chowrastha will be taking the unit in the food court that used to be home to the Chick-fil-A restaurant. The CFA closed at the end of 2022.
The brand has more than a dozen locations open or in the works scattered around the country. One opened in Herndon back in late 2022.
The menu at Desi Chowrastha is lengthy. While it’s not certain that the food court location will offer everything that other locations have, the restaurant’s menu usually includes tiffins, dosas, biryanis, and other popular types of Indian dishes.
A different Indian restaurant was originally supposed to take the food court spot. It was to be called Rangeen by Eggholic, but those plans have changed and Desi Chowrastha is taking the spot now.
The restaurant’s team has just recently taken possession of the food court space, so it’s still too early for an opening date. Early 2025 seems a safe bet.
