Aroma Cafe — a Colombian-inspired cafe concept with several locations in the DC market — has signed a new deal for a cafe in Vienna.
The cafe will be taking a roughly 2,200 s.f. spot in the tiny Vienna Crossing center at 418 Maple Avenue East. It’s taking over a spot that was previously a Potbelly sandwich shop.
Aroma Cafe already has locations in DC — where it’s known as Aroma Express — as well as similar concepts in Springfield and Woodbridge.
The exact makeup of the offerings at the new Vienna location aren’t clear — but it will reportedly include both coffee beverages as well as a menu of food offerings.
Beverages at the DC location include such Colombian favorites as cortaditos, a cafe tinto, and a cafe con leche.
Some of the dishes offered include empanadas, arepas, and various pastries. We’ve heard the new Vienna location will have an expanded menu and include additional items.
