Kung Fu Tea reportedly closes at Loudoun Station

It looks like the Loudoun Station retail center in Ashburn has a new vacancy. The Kung Fu Tea bubble tea shop has reportedly closed its doors.

The Burn passed by and the lights were all off and the doors were locked. A sign on the door was addressed to customers, but it was covered over so it couldn’t be read.

Online, the Google listing for the store says “Permanently Closed” and the phone number appears to be disconnected.

The location at Loudoun Station off Shellhord Road opened a little more than two years ago — in June 2022.

There are several other Kung Fu Tea locations around Loudoun County, including one in Ashburn at the Ashburn Village Shopping Center.

Another location in Lansdowne has been in the pipeline for more than three years, but there haven’t been any significant signs of progress, leading us to wonder if that deal is kaput.

Besides the Kung Fu Tea news, Loudoun Station recently saw the closure of both The Zone kids play center and the Blackfinn Ameripub restaurant.
