It’s official. The Bowlero bowling alley at the Tysons Galleria shopping mall in McLean will soon undergo a rebranding and become a Lucky Strike bowling alley.
The move has long been expected — ever since Bowlero took over the Lucky Strike chain back in 2023.
Apparently research has shown that the Lucky Strike brand is stronger and now Bowlero is going to rebrand some 75 locations, giving them the Lucky Strike name and a more “upscale” vibe.
The Tysons spot is one of the first to get the upgrade.
“Guests can look forward to vibrant settings and enhanced food and beverage offerings, all within an immersive environment,” the company’s announcement reads.
There are currently Bowlero locations across Northern Virginia, including Leesburg and Sterling, Fairfax, Centreville, Burke, and elsewhere.
The nearest Lucky Strike location currently is in Bethesda, Maryland, but it’s possible that at least some of the other NoVA locations besides Tysons could become Lucky Strikes as well.
