Sad news for fans of the long-running Mediterranean Breeze restaurant in the Old Ashburn neighborhood. The restaurant will close permanently in less than two weeks.
The news came today via post on social media. “Sadly we are permanently closing Sunday, January 19 at 3 p.m.,” the message reads.
“It’s been a wonderful 21 years serving you our best recipes. We’re open normal hours until then for you to come in and enjoy your favorites. Words cannot express our gratitude for your patronage and loyalty over the years. We have truly loved being a part of the community here in Ashburn.”
Mediterranean Breeze is located at 20693 Ashburn Road. It’s in a small strip mall across from the Ashburn fire department.
The restaurant was perhaps best known for its gyro platters and its popular weekend brunches.
