A quick update on the new Rush Bowls shop coming to Ashburn. Construction is moving quickly and the sign was recently installed on the facade.
The Burn spoke to the owner and he says right now — assuming everything keeps going smoothly — he’s looking at a mid-March opening.
The new store is located in the Ashbrook Commons shopping center. That’s the same center at Route 7 and Ashburn Village Boulevard with the Harris Teeter, the Jersey Mike’s and the upcoming Qdoba Mexican Eats restaurant.
Rush Bowls specializes in açai bowls and other healthy fruit bowls as well as smoothies and other items.
This will be the second Rush Bowls in Loudoun County and the second one in the entire state of Virginia, according to the company’s website.
The first one in the state opened in the Brambleton Town Center in Ashburn last spring.
