Loudoun getting first Hawaii Fluid Art studio in region

It was just yesterday that The Burn reported on the Curry Pizza House restaurant chain coming to Ashburn’s Loudoun Station retail center. Now, we have information on two more tenants headed there.

One of the tenants is going to be a Hawaii Fluid Art studio. The Burn first reported on the brand entering the Northern Virginia market last March.

Hawaii Fluid Art is a chain with dozens of locations across the country. However, according to the company’s website, the only one in Virginia is down in the Smith Mountain Lake area.

The concept at Hawaii Fluid Art probably falls into the paint-and-sip category — where guests come and are guided through the creation of various types of art by an instructor — all while enjoying libations.

“Fluid art is a fascinating blend of science and creativity,” the website reads. “The diverse pigments used in this art form are composed of various materials, each with unique weights and densities.”

“The movement of these pigments is influenced by their viscosity and quantity, resulting in unique patterns and effects. As they move, mix, rise, or sink, they create the appearance of organic cells on the canvas. This element of unpredictability is part of the magic of fluid art, making each piece a unique masterpiece,” the description continues.

It looks like Hawaii Fluid Art is taking a small 1,600 s.f. studio space near the AMC movie theater.

The other new tenant coming to Loudoun Station is a Dogtopia, a dog grooming, boarding, and training facility. For more on the new Dogtopia, see our story here.
