A new seafood restaurant is headed to Loudoun County — one that specializes in jumbo lump crab cakes.
It’s called Frye’s Famous Crab Cake Co. The brand was founded in 2019 and its original location is in Manassas. Now, they are ready to branch out.
The owner shared the news with The Burn that they will be taking a space in the Ashburn Eats restaurant center on Waxpool Road in Ashburn.
That’s the same center with the Five Guys, the Moe’s Southwest Grill, and the Santini’s New York Style Deli.
The Frye’s location in Manassas is carry out only, but the Ashburn location will likely have a small dining room.
The menu currently features crab cakes and crab balls, as well as a variety of sides and desserts.
These include crab salad, coleslaw, potato salad, and a “secret family recipe” carrot cake. You can see Frye’s current offerings here.
If all goes smoothly, the team at Frye’s is hoping to have the new Ashburn location ready to go sometime in March or April.
