An upcoming Pakistani restaurant will be pulling customers from both Loudoun County and Fairfax County — that’s thanks to its unique location right near the border between Loudoun and Fairfax.
It’s called Swadi Pakistani Kitchen and it will be taking a spot in a small strip mall at 46000 Old Ox Road.
The company has had a successful catering business for several years and thanks to lots of positive feedback from clients, they have decided to open a brick-and-mortar location.
The catering menu at Swadi includes appetizers such as samosas and shawarma bites. There are meat curries as well as vegetarian dishes, rice biryanis and pulaus.
They have tandoori chicken, lamb chops, and more. You can check out the current lineup here, although the actual restaurant menu may differ from these offerings.
The Swadi team is doing some renovations on the new space and hopes to be ready to open sometime in Feburary.
Meanwhile, this news is just the latest in a mini-boom of local restaurants focusing on Pakistani cuisine.
Last year, Cha Street Food opened to rave reviews in Sterling and, as The Burn recently reported, another Pakistani restaurant called Saahil is coming soon to Loudoun’s Dulles 28 Centre.
