The fast-growing Chicken Salad Chick restaurant chain appears to have secured another location in Northern Virginia. This time, the brand is adding a Herndon location.
According to the landlord, Chicken Salad Chick will be taking a roughly 2,700 s.f. space in the Herndon Centre retail plaza off Elden Street.
It will be going into a corner unit next door to Sprouts Farmers Market that used to be occupied by a MOD Pizza restaurant.
As The Burn has been reporting, the Atlanta-based brand has been making a big move into Northern Virginia.
The local franchisees opened their first location in Falls Church last August, and that was quickly followed by a second location in Fairfax which opened in November.
Now, the third location — this time in Herndon — has been secured and we know they are hunting for more locations in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties.
The brand’s menu focuses on 12 different signature chicken salads — both savory ones and sweet ones — that can be served in a sandwich, on or a salad, or a la carte. You can check out the menu here.
No word yet when the Herndon location will open, but the local CSC team seems to be moving fast, so we wouldn’t expect a long wait.
