A new Japanese restaurant that is wowing folks with its interior decor and cool vibe has opened for business in Chantilly. It’s called Izakaya Nana.
Izakaya is a Japanese word that sort of has the same meaning as “pub” in English — a place to relax, settle in, and have good food. But this place doesn’t look like any pub we’ve ever seen.

Izakaya Nana is located just off Route 50 at 13882 Metrotech Drive in the Sully Place Shopping Center.
To help you geolocate that, it’s a 4,000 s.f. freestanding building in the parking lot between the At Home store and the Lowe’s home improvement store.
They’ve been holding a soft opening here in late January with the official opening scheduled to start in February. They have lunch and dinner hours six days a week, closed on Tuesdays.

This isn’t the first Izakaya Nana. There is an original location in Flushing, New York. The Chantilly location is No. 2, according to the company’s website. No word on where No. 3 might land.

The menu at Izakaya Nana includes cold appetizers such as Lobster Potato Salad Balls and Chili Garlic Edamame. Hot appetizers include Crispy Fried Salmon Skin and Brussels Sprouts Tempura.
Other dishes include Wagyu Foie Gras Uni, Japanese Clam Miso Soup, Tornado Omelet Fried Rice, and their signature Raman Nana. You can see the Izakaya Nana food menu below.
