The sign has gone up on the front of the new Jet’s Pizza restaurant in Herndon and excitement is building as the popular purveyor of Detroit-style pies approaches opening day.
Jet’s has taken a small spot in the Herndon Parkway Crossing strip center. That’s at the corner of Herndon Parkway and Elden Street.
Construction has progressed steadily on the build out of the store and now we are told they are aiming for a mid-March opening. The target is Wednesday, March 12, if all stays on track.
The Burn has been reporting on Jet’s Pizza ever since the national chain announced a new franchisee was bringing an expected string of locations to Northern Virginia.
So, far two have opened in the area — one in Annendale and the other in Alexandria. Besides the Herndon location, we’re told the fourth store is in the works for the Lake Ridge area near Woodbridge.
The local operators continue to look for other locations — including potentially in Loudoun County.
